Out of the last 5 orders I made at Lego Shop@home all had damaged sets with dents,
large creases, partially squashed boxes etc. So in all 5 orders almost all boxes
where damaged. Before this year I had these damages in about 50% of the orders
but not all boxes inside the shipments were damaged. At this moment 100% is more
(mostly more) or less damaged. And yes, of course I contacted Lego and they let
me return shipments and reshipped replacement sets (that also were damaged) or
gave me some extra Insiderpoints.
Lego provides large outer boxes that are filled for less than 50% with sets without
any protection, the sets have too much space for movement. No large airbubbles,
brown paper or whatever.

And although I provide them with pictures, return shipments etc. I do get tired
of it, it gives me the feeling of loosing credibility although it is their mistake.
Their service is good most of the time but a good service starts with a good
product at the first place.

Today I send them a message ‘if I place a new order please remind me I shouldn’t
have done this’.
It really annoys me and is getting under my skin a bit.

I was trying to put the micro statue of Ant Man from the new Marvel 2 Goliath
CMF series into my inventory.
When I checked the micro statue I noticed differences between this new Ant Man
and the one that was put into the inventory of Goliath.
So, I think, the Bricklinker that put this inventory into the system made a mistake.

The differences are mostly seen in the silvered print.
The new one, see my own picture, hasn’t got the silver print at the neck, the
silver print above the hips are square and do not have a smaller line, the silver
leg print is thinner than on the older one.

A few weeks ago I had an order from a (semi?) professional organization that
is a buyer on Bricklink but a seller elsewhere in the Netherlands. There was
no payment and worst of all no communication from this buyer.
No communication after extra emails as a reminder. So I started and completed
an NPB.
Just after I did this buyer had an NPB from another seller.

Today I got an order from the same city but not the same by name. A zero feedback
buyer that paid quickly.
So all good news?
Well, I am not too sure since the payment was done by the same organization that
has 2 names (they fused from 2 to 1 organization).
To be fair, I am a bit anxious about it.

Should I contact the buyer and tell my concerns and or questions regarding this
order and the organization?

tegen elkaar wil uitspelen. Net zoals in mijn Bricklinkwinkel wordt er alleen
verstuurd in Nederland.

I have an order from a buyer made 3 days ago. At that moment a 0 feedback buyer.
No payment at this moment but when checking the buyers feedback it got from -1
up to -8.
All mentioning NPB but still not buyers privilege revoked.

It could be it will be initiated tomorrow but it could also mean sellers aren’t
using the NPB system correctly.
If so it would be a pity since using the system the right way may get bad buyers
out of our system and make it easier for sellers that got their order later.
Now I, and maybe other sellers have to wait for 4 days to start an NPB, wait
another week to complete it while a revoked buyer would mean I could cancel immediately.

Why is it always that, in rare occasions, the most expensive part is damaged
in shippings and not the cheapest?
There must be a logical reason that I cannot think about.

I was looking for a yellow duck(ling) in the catalog parts section animal ‘water’
and ‘air’ (since ducks can fly and/or swim I didn’t find it odd to look at these
sections, maybe ducklings aren’t capable of flying but the last time I saw a
few of them they were swimming).
I couldn’t find it so I looked in catalog colors at yellow and saw the duck can
be found at the parts ‘land’.
In my opinion these youngsters aren’t land animals but water or air (debatable)
animals.
Should this be changed?

I have a 96L electric wire, new in original piece of tape, that I cannot find
in the catalog.

It is similar to

Part No: 766c96 Name: Electric, Wire 12V / 4.5V with 2 Leads, 96 Studs Long with 2 Light Gray Electric, Connector, 2-Way Male Squared Narrow Long with Center Post (x466c96 / 766c01)

Parts: Electric, Wire & Connector
but 1 of the connectors is of a smaller kind.

Is this a sort of variation or am I looking at the wrong place?

See my won made picture regarding the electric wire.

Thanks in advance!

Today I had a message from the USA from a ‘buyer’ that wanted to buy 6 of my
sets.

When I looked at his feedback etc. I saw he has a red square 🟥 so too much NPB’s
in his case.
This is a buyer that tries to circumvents his unability of buying in the official
way.
So an untrustworthy buyer that tries to buy (scam?) in a different way.
Be aware!
If needed I can provide you the name of the buyer by PM.

Today I received 2 rubber bands that should be part x88. Bought on Bricklink.

When I received them they look quite some smaller than on the picture of Bricklink.
Part x88 goes easily around 4 studs, it doesn’t look to be stretched at al.

Part No: x88 Name: Rubber Band Small (Square Cross Section)
*
x88 Rubber Band Small (Square Cross Section)
Parts: Rubber Band & Belt

On my own made picture the rubber band only goes on top of 4 studs and doesn’t
‘cover’ them completely., they can hardly be stretched, they will never fit 4
studs at all, I am afraid they will break.

Do forum readers agree with me that it doesn’t look like x88 at all?
And if so, what part can it be, is it Lego related at all?

I have a Duplo plate part with shield print and phoenix decoration that misses
the black in the shield completely.
In my opinion it does look too good to be wear, the rest of the decoration is
still very good, to good as a remain after losing the black print.

Let’s hear what others think of it, it will be coming up for sale but most likely
only in the Netherlands due to really high shippingcosts abroad.

Thanks already for your participation!

Today I made an order of 5 minifigs in a Bricklinkshop.

A few hours later I saw an order cancellation without any communication.

All 5 minifigs were cancelled due to the fact they all are sold at Ebay!
All! Not only 1 but all 5.
Too much of a coincidence in my opinion, you can forget about 1 minifig but 5!
I guess he found the price he asked too low although he himself had them on sale
for 15% discount.
So how can you discount them quite recently and than forgot to take them out
of your inventory when you sell them on Ebay...

Is it possible to start an NSS in this case?

Thanks for reading and for the possible help I receive.

I had a question from a buyer regarding instructions of CMF’s.

He bought some from a different seller but due to our nice communication (I guess)
he asked me why the numbering of his series 13 didn’t make sense, he also missed
some and had some double.

If I am correct these leaflets are always the same unless you mark the empty
circle by yourself.
But maybe I need to be educated myself in this case...

The packages are marked with a barcode in the earlier series, later with dots/dents/pimples.

So if I am wrong I would like to know and I can give the information to my buyer
too, I will point this forumpost to him to.

Thanks already!

I have an First Order Stormtrooper with flamethrower on his back that is adjusted
with part 15712 black tile modified 1x1 open O clip.

One of these 15712 isn’t black but trans black, see my own made picture.
Not in any other set, not being sold in the last 6 months if I see it well.
It is the real deal, marked with Lego and partnumber.

If a Dutch Bricklinkmember is interested: make me an offer.
Shipping abroad would be very expensive since I cannot offer the lower shippingcosts
some Dutch sellers can, sorry!

Am I correct in thinking this picture (see link to Bricklink catalog) isn’t the
right picture?

In the HP CMF serie 2 there is an entry for Luna Lovegood as a set.
This is the minifig with a feline headgear plus her hair etc.

This should mean that the minifig should only be with the feline headgear but
the picture shows this headgear and also her hair in the smaller pictures. This
might confuse buyers in what they think they buy and could get sellers into trouble
when selling the minifig with the headgear but without the hair.

This is the link to the minifig only;

If I have this part in hands, plate modified 1x2 with 1 stud jumper undetermined
bottom type.

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3794#T=C

What does this means when selling this piece? Is it the lazy way of selling this
piece, or the way to sell it if you do not know the differences?
Is it the sort of term I can use when I do not know if it has a groove or not,
does or does not have a bottom stud holder?

In fact, if I sell a part like this, does it means I sell it in the way: I don’t
know, buy it an expect 1 of the 3 different types that are mentioned as related
items?

If not the above mentioned, what does this type of modifies plate looks like?

What can a buyer expect when they buy it?

In the Bricklink catalog set 21038 is mentioned but if I remember well it was
discontinued before it was ever sold.
All due to the shooting from the Mandalay Bay hotel.
In my believe Lego showed the box art before the shooting and well before it
entered shops.
After the shooting it was discontinued without making it going to shops, before
a real release.
If so I think this set shouldn’t be in the catalog, there is most likely no set
to be found ‘in the wild’.
Therefore it might be poluting the catalog.
