Hopefully this is the right space to ask this:

My buyer has messaged stating they haven't received their item - I have proof
of posting but no tracking info and have already submitted a missing letter claim
with Royal Mail.

I'm wondering what I should do:

1. refund the buyer and hope Royal Mail don't tell me they've already
delivered the item?;
2. wait for Royal Mail to respond which could take another few days, and my buyer
has already sent several messages as they want their items?

Any advice would be appreciated!

I was looking under terms for sellers but didn't see anything specifically
on topic, but does anyone have a definitive answer or knowledge if it goes against
Bricklink terms to sell items from store without documenting them? I know if
I wanted I could just remove the items from inventory and work out a deal separate
from Bricklink but I prefer not to do that and just curious if there are rules
against it.

As you pick an order, group all the items in small piles of 5.
When done picking, it should be super easy to count. If the final total items
picked matches the total order items, then odds are the order was picked correctly.

It's the most useful selling tip I've encountered.
This has been shared in the forum before (which is how I first learned it), but
I thought it's worthwhile to bring it up again because I see forum complaints
often like "over half of my orders on BL are wrong missing pieces"...
etc...

This usefulness will also vary depending on the types of orders you get as a
seller.

MOST of mine are all small items and less than 100pcs so this method is pretty
easy. It works for larger orders too, just need more space/larger groups or a
mix of both.

It still saves me from a short pick here and there and since using it, my error
rate has gone down considerably.

Hello,

Over the past half-year, I have accumulated over 1,300 Minifig heads, 800 Torsos,
and around 800 or so headgear/hair. As I do not want to sift through and upload
individually, what would be the best way to sell these? They are all clean and
free of dust and I would be willing to sell at a great discount.

Thanks!

I have recently had two orders where the shipping method was marked "Request
for invoice (backup method)".

Is this an option that is always available on the checkout page?

I am trying to figure out why it looks like it was not possible to automatically
generate the invoice. Going over my shipping method, I noticed that there was
a fairly strict limit on the box size (3cm height) and the items sold were complete
sets.
The size in the Bricklink catalogue is obviously larger.

Could that have been the issue?

Is there any way to debug these kind of things? Like making a fake order in my
shop?

Thanks,
Peter

If you have three tiers with the following prices:

base - 10¢
100 - 9¢
250 - 8¢
500 - 7¢

And someone orders 1000 of the lot, is the total cost $70.00 (since it's
over 500) or is it treated like tax brackets and the first 100 pieces go for
10¢, 100-250 go for 9¢, 250-500 go for 8¢ and everything else after that goes
for 7¢ for ~78.50?

I was wondering how one would sell the minifig cmf sets? I am selling them as
new but the substatus is somewhat hazy to me. A lot of sellers sell as new and
complete but throw away the box. I would rather (for storing purposes but also
for cheaper shipping) lose the box and sell them in a ziploc bag...

What is the policy on this? And how strict is it? If it is strict, I'm just
going to scan them and sell the boxes as is

Hello, I’m a new seller with two sales under my belt. It’s been great so far.
I have a few cool Lego Star Wars sets for sale and I’m offering them at 20% off
because, well… May the 4th be with you.
With the sale, my prices are very competitive and I would like to promote it.
Is there a way to promote stuff on sale?

I had a buyer send money to my paypal direct instead of through Bricklink.

How do I get the Vat and fees to Bricklink to show that the buyer has paid and
I can get a VAT invoice?

Greetings fellow Bricklink sellers,

I have moved into a new place with more space and looking to reorganize my sticker
lots. I am currently using an accordion style folder organizer, which has been
ok but I have too many stickers so it is not the most ideal.

I am curious what every one else is using to organize their stickers?

Regards,
Quinton

Any sucessfully recieve their exemption?

Bricklink emailed a list of members two weeks ago allowing sellers to apply,

I responded with my sales tax certificate, they asked for an additional form
which I provided. Now its radio silence for a week and still no exemption.

I just went through the same process with Uline and it took an hour:/

Hey everyone,

I've been thinking recently and I have come to the conclusion that I want
to sell a large part of my personal collection. One part of this collection includeds
a lot of older used sets, mostly ninjago and starwars. They are all mostly complete
but I don't know for sure, and I don't really have the time to check
every single one individualy. The seccond part of the collection are a lot of
minifigures, from a large variaty of themes, both new and used. How would I
best go about selling these?

Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I am unsure what to do- I have sent multiple messages to the bricklink help desk
over the past weeks but they just seem to go into the ether with no acknowledgement
and no answer. I was late paying my store fees and only notcied when my store
was suspended (this is NOT my profession, just a hobby thus I dont check these
things very often). I piad the fees immediately yet STILL my store is suspended.
According to Bricklink's own rules, the suspension should be immediately
lifted when the past due is paid. I have no idea what to do here as I get no
reply from BL. I never expected such terrible service from a Lego entity. Rather
disappointing. Oh fair community of brickers, any suggestions???

When i run an end of year report on Stripe and I look at a transaction where
Bricklink has also collected taxes, the fee amount shown consists of both the
Stripe fee and the Bricklink collected taxes. I just want to know the Stripe
fee? Is there an easy way to do this that I'm missing? Nubs?

So I have a buyer who contacted me and asked if they could add some more items
to an order that has not yet been shipped. Of cause I'll make that happen,
but I'd prefer to let this run through Bricklinks system as well instead
of just adding the parts off the book, because this would make handling it for
me easier.

But I'm struggling to find a way to give this user free shipping without
opening it up for all buyers. So far I've tried:

- Issue a coupon for the shipping costs, this didn't work because a coupon
is limited by the value of the order and because my buyer wants to add items
for less than the shipping costs they would only get the value of the items for
free but still would have to pay the full shipping costs.

- Create a "Free Shipping Method" with a very high min-buy and a bypass
password. This didn't work because the password seems to only lift the global
minimum buy restriction, but no shipping methods are displayed during checkout.

Do you have any suggestions on how I could handle this and give this user free
shipping without asking them to upfront it and than sending it back?

I finally got my quote requests working thanks to some help from the forum.
Then my first quote comes in from a buyer in Oregon (no sales tax). Would the
taxes field normally auto-populate or do you have to manually enter that? in
this case the field was blank and I left it blank.

Hi
I have 412 items worth over £2,500 in my store.

If anyone is interested in buying the 412 items I will sell for £1000.00.

Please note that there maybe a few figures that are yellowed and have cracked
torso’s or arms.
I will have to charge £40 postage.
