Trying to complete my sets the white pillars are always described as 1 x 1 x
5 but I have only ever seen them measuring 1 x 1 x 6 - are they 5 or 6? does
anyone else have this issue?
Thanks Sue

Hi,
Bought a 3# bag for $6 at the thrift store today of visibly vintage bricks.
Along with the milky white hinge coupling nylon and printed 'Garage'
and 'Theatre" bricks it also had a large handful of green 1x2, 2x2, 2x3
and 2x4 CA plates. After some research I found that they were only produced
in North America for a couple years (1963-1965) and never apart of a set just
an accessory box. Is there a market for these and how would I go about selling
them?

Also, a few of the pieces have the logos not squared up. One stud will be 'printed'
at an angle. How does this even happen?

Vintage needs to be more than 50 years old not 20, in my opinion.

Away from home and using hot spotting.

Can’t open messages on site, just buffers and screen freezes.

Everything else on BL I’ve tried, once I free up screen, seems to work fine,
don’t understand.

I can get my e-mails ok and other sites work.

Anyone know what’s wrong.

Be careful the hackers are at it again. We just received a PHISHING email.

It is the old "LOGIN IN FROM DEVICE"

It is fake because when you look at the email address it is "support@bricklink

There is an "S" after Bricklink.

Thought I’d ask the experts.

Can my wife open an account with a different e-mail address at our actual address,
is this permitted.

She would like to buy things at times, not necessarily with my knowledge, presents
etc.

There is no chance that she will open a store as she knows nothing about Lego
at all.

Thanks in advance

Has anyone ever had a long delay from when someone paid on the site and when
it showed up in Paypal? It's been over an hour now (yes it says "paid"
and everything is picked and packed, but still nothing in Paypal.

Hello all first time making a post so correct me if I do anything wrong!

Is there a place or a website that I can enter my store inventory into and
it spits out the minifigures I can build like rebrickable with sets but minifigures
instead?

I have tons of loose fig pieces and I am hoping to build them back to full figs!

Thank you kindly!

Hi All,

I'm heading to Legoland Germany this weekend as a vacation and a buying trip.

I was just wondering if anyone has been and has advice on what the best value
for money is in regards to picking parts for resale. As you pay per 100g tiles
would be a no-brainer but aside from that, I'm not sure. I think they limit
the amount of each lot you can buy as well per day, from what I've seen on
YouTube, so that will impact it.

I was trying to gauge the waters here in Ireland to see what unusual parts people
would be interested in buying but I'm not sure how to do that, any suggestions?

Thanks all,
Mike

(That thread title might get lost in translation for some of our non English
speaking users)

Color shifts in Dark Red are well established. Same with white stress marks
on Reddish Brown and Dark Red parts... But has anyone else been paying close
attention to Dark Blue?

I'm trudging along slowly with several copies of

Set No: 21344 Name: The Orient Express Train
*
21344-1 (Inv) The Orient Express Train
2507 Parts, 8 Minifigures, 2023
Sets: LEGO Ideas (CUUSOO): Train
And I'm
seeing an extremely high incidence rate of "less than pristine" examples
of

Part No: 43967 Name: Door 1 x 4 x 5 Train Left, Thick Support at Bottom
*
43967 Door 1 x 4 x 5 Train Left, Thick Support at Bottom
Parts: Door {Dark Blue}
and

Part No: 42819 Name: Door 1 x 4 x 5 Train Right, Thick Support at Bottom
*
42819 Door 1 x 4 x 5 Train Right, Thick Support at Bottom
Parts: Door {Dark Blue}
. 3/16 and 4/16 respectively.

I'm going to go back and check some of the higher volume pieces like the
1x8's and check, but has anyone else been seeing this? I can't in good
conscience list these as "new" even though they are. (Can add photos
tomorrow.)

Hi all, I need to add random pieces to my store inventory. Is there an easy way
to update the amount you have to an existing amount? Right now I am searching
my inventory for the right piece then changing the count. Thanks!!

Hi everyone, I recently, last Friday, started selling my loose Lego pieces in
my store. Fortunately, or unfortunately, I received about 20 orders in a few
hours. I was so inundated with orders that I had to temporarily close the store
to process the orders. I am just now sending out the last two. I am a temporary
store, as my kids don't want to inherit any Lego's. I was so frazzled
doing this that I now have respect for those that do this as a business. Good
work to all those that have stores!!

We had season passes the first two years of LegoLand, CA's opening, my son,
daughter and I. Mostly as a place to hang out when bored, sometimes just somewhere
to eat our lunch outdoors. It was a very nice environment for the kids and I
in the earlier years of its opening. Very relaxed wonderful space for them especially.
Good memories

So almost inevitably, we became friends with some that worked there. In particular
was a woman that ran the injection molding display at the park, my kids speaking
Swedish and her being from and missing her family in Sweden, it just happened.
Anyway, we ended up with a lot of souvenirs she liked to give them, samples from
what the displayed LEGO injection molding machine processed throughout the day.
This was before our involvement with BL and the selling of LEGO, or really even
as enthusiastic fans of LEGO, and so they were just fun items for my son and
daughter to take home.

Cutting back towards the point: These items were produced on an official LEGO
injection molding machine by a LEGO affiliated employee. Would these unique items
hypothetically then be allowed into the BL catalog? I say hypothetically, as
we no longer have the parts. Tossed them long ago, actually

Now to the point: What does actually qualify as "officially" LEGO
and therefore allowed to be sold here?
Maybe more definitive guidelines would
be useful to all of within the secondary marketplace?

Just some (anecdotal backed) pondering

When you click on the colored cells in the color guide (https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp)
you get a link to for instance (for Pearl Very Light Gray): https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?colorID=119

But what is this even meant to show? If it was linking to say, https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&colorPart=119
- that would make sense (but also be redundant, because the Parts column already
links there).

As far as I can tell, it seems to match "On Wanted List", which is entirely
non-sensical? (For instance, Pearl White links to https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?G=853508#T=C&C=0
which makes no sense beside that it is for some reason on Wanted Lists).

Should these even have a link at all?

Sadly it has now happened to me too.

A happy customer has posted neutral feedback.

Couldn’t expect to keep 100% forever but hate to lose it this way.

Messaged them asking why a neutral, explaining result of a neutral on my score,
awaiting a reply.

Oh well, it won’t affect sales as buyers can see the customer was happy with
items.

Easy buy is so broken. It picked a store and set up the cart with 122 lots.
The store has an 80 lot limits. Also, the seller has multiple lots of 1ea and
of course I need multiples, so unnecessary lots are added when they could be
consolidating them when they add them. And some can argue that it's just
how they do things and have them in different places when they part them out,
but when you keep the same part in multiple locations it is an inefficient usage
of space.

TY for reading. Rant over, carry on.
