Stockroom Items
Stockrooms contain items in your inventory not available for sale. These items are displayed only in your inventory. Stockrooms are useful when you want to make a portion of your inventory unavailable without closing your whole store.
Stockroom Items as Applicable to:
  • Wanted List Notifications - These must be sent manually if you add a new stockroom item and then later make it available for sale.

  • Reserved Items - Stockroom items cannot also be reserved. If you Reserve an item and move it to stockroom in the same update, then the item is reserved and will not be moved into stockroom.

  • Lots with Zero Quantity - Items sold out and set to be retained in your inventory as zero-quantity items are moved into your stockroom. Lots with zero quantity cannot be moved out of your stockroom until you increase the item quantity.
Multiple Stockrooms:
Sellers may enable up to three stockrooms in their Store Settings. When enabled, items can be added to any stockroom in all areas where it is possible to add an item to stockroom. Items can also be moved between stockrooms on the My Inventory summary and detail screens.

An item does not retain its previous stockroom location (A, B or C) when it is moved out of a stockroom and made available. When an item is sold out and moved to a stockroom, it is always moved to stockroom A.
