Buyer and Seller Action Items

Buyer and Seller each have tasks to complete during the lifetime of an order. These tasks are located on your myBrickLink page. Some of these tasks are not applicable for the Onsite Payment method and Instant Checkout (IC).
Buyer:
  • Pay for an Order - Instructions to send payment are located on the invoice that you receive from the seller. Checking the checkbox and clicking the "Submit Changes" button on your Orders Placed page under "Paid" column changes the payment status to "Paid". Payment is possible when the order status is marked Ready, the order has been invoiced, and the payment status is none.

  • Change Order Status to Completed - Change the Order Status Received when you have received your package (but have not yet verified its contents or there is a problem). When you verify the contents of your package and consider the order completed, change the order status Completed. The option to change order status on your Orders Placed page appears when order has status of Shipped or Received.

  • Post Feedback (optional) - A buyer can Post Feedback to their seller items are received. Posting feedback is possible when the order status is Completed and the buyer has not yet posted feedback.
Seller:
  • Invoice Buyer - Send an Invoice to your buyer after an order is submitted, contents of order have been verified and addition expenses & discounts have been added to the order. Invoicing is possible when order status is Pending, Updated, Processing or Ready and the order hasn't been invoiced yet.

  • Ship Order - Ship an order after the buyer has paid. If you have Payment Status enabled, the myBrickLink action item includes orders where order status is Pending, Updated, Processing, Ready or Packed and payment status is Completed. If you do not have payment status enabled, the myBrickLink action item includes orders where order status is Paid or Packed.

  • Post Feedback (optional) - Sellers can Post Feedback for a buyer after the buyer has paid or after they have changed the status to Completed. Posting feedback is possible for orders you received where the order status is Completed and you have not yet posted feedback.
