Redesigned during production. There are at least 2 different versions of instructions for this set. The differences for the second version are indicated in this inventory in the Alternate Items section with Match ID 99. Quick overview of redesign: A light gray 3701 Technic, Brick 1 x 4 with Holes and a light gray 9244c01 Technic, Universal Joint 4L are added to the set and can be used to strengthen the steering mechanism. In some sets this was shown on a supplemental sheet, and in other sets the instruction manual was completely updated with the strengthened design.
