About Me Pages: About LegoLance (870)
My dad worked at the LEGO Samsonite factory in Loveland, CO in the late '60s / early '70s. At the end of each day the employees were allowed to sweep up any pieces that fell on the floor and either get them for free or buy them for a small price. In addition, my grandpa knew where, at the local dump, LEGO disposed of their trash and would dig out pieces, bring them home, wash them and give them to me. I still have all these LEGO pieces. I still have the original LEGO space sets from the late '70s I grew up with. I didn't have all of them, but the ones I do have are complete, including the instruction manuals but minus the boxes. I have made a minifigure of myself that I take with me from time to time and take pictures of LEGOLance's travels. More later. Stay Tuned.
