I was born in 1972 and as long as I can remember I have been a fan of Lego.

In 1980 at the age of 8 I got the 851 Tractor for Christmas and I have collected and played with Lego Technic ever since. I had my dark period in about 1985 to 1992 where I didn't buy any Lego at all. After seeing and buying the 8094 Control Center I in 1992, I was back on the track and after discovering the AFOL community on the internet in 2000, my fascination got a second boost. In 2001 I became a member of both Lugnet and BrickLink and opened up my BrickLink-store the same year. In 2003 A few other Danish AFOLs and I founded the first Danish Lego Club Byggepladen (The Baseplate).

My alltime favourite set is the 856/951 Bulldozer. I think it is the essence of the Technic theme. In my opinion it is a brilliant example of an intriguing, technically well-functioning, well-proportioned, realisticly looking design. And it shows that you can build technically challenging models with only a very limited selection of special parts. It has a lot of play value and every time I see it my knees hurt as a memory of all the time I have spend playing with it as a child.

Another of my favourite sets is the 697 Stagecoach. It is from my early childhood and one of the earliest sets I remember getting.

Other excellent sets from the Technic Theme are: 8846, 8856, 8868, 8858, 8480 and 8459. And I could mention several other sets a well, but these are among my favourites.
