Dad introduced me to Lego in 1985 with some basic 6600-6699 sets,
I put them away in 1993 to pursue my out-of-school life,
Got them back out in 2003 after buying 10020 for only $30AUD from Myers Ballarat,
Started buying more Lego Sets from May 2004.
Came to Bricklink 25th November 2011.

===.A little about me.===
***I have been around the Lego hobby for quite some time and will research anything I didn't know before.
*Dad bought my first Lego Set way back in 1985 when i was just 9y/o with a basic 6600-6699 series city vehicle.
*I stopped Lego'ing in 1994 to pursue my out-of-school life.
*Got back into Lego in 2003/4 after buying the 10020-1 Santa Fe Loco and was very impressed with what type of pieces and colors LEGO was making then, comparing it to my old childhood Sets, which I still had then and still do to this day :)
*I've always had a interest in the Railways since before I could remember because my families history worked on the English and Australian Railways and my uncle Bob (Bob's your uncle ;) ) still works to this day on the Melbourne Network driving V/Line trains.
*After buying a Orient Expedition Set that contained Dark Blue, or what i call Royal Blue pieces, I was hooked :P Instantly it gave me thoughts of building a Spirit Of Progress train because buying one in HO (which I was into then) was hard to find and only came in unpainted brass for $600 just for the Loco & Tender alone :(
*After that I made the hard, but fairly easy, decision to rid EVERY type of train set I had then, Bye-bye went the HO trains, G scale B/O sets, HO B/O sets, N gauge electrics, S scale B/O sets, N scale Lone*star, Matchbox trains, etc, etc, etc. and Hello O-scale lego trains :P From that day on I was converted :D
*Since then I have designed and built my Spirit Of Progress train with 5 carriages and bought 90% of the pieces off Bricklink for a coincidence price of $600 and was on running display at Brickvention 2014 :)
*Have also built a couple of Tait trains, a Hitachi set, a Harris set, and have more plans in the pipeline :)
*Thank you for reading this, I hope you can relate in some ways, and remember, Lego is not just a kids hobby; or else it would be designed and made by kids for kids :D
