Try some dawn dish soap. Sometimes it doesn't work and I use the edge of
a razor blade to gently debride a thin shaving of the stain. I only do this on
my personal ones, of course, not ones for resale.

Try eucalyptus oil - it works for the lego paint so should work for other markers.

You could try wd40. I haven’t tested it on Lego elements.

I have gotten lucky and rubbing it with my fingers has worked.

Two classic solutions - rubbing alcohol and/or hairspray! Seriously. These get
off even most permanent marker stains from pretty much everything (except clothing).

I'm actually more shocked these days when I can't remove a stain, between
acetone, alcohol and H2O2 and the fabulous magic eraser (do not use on lego though,
I've learned the hard way you can see the scratches)

The disinfectant wipes, doesn't have to be lysol, work. They also take the
stickiness off if removing stickers. Or hand sanitizer (alcohol?).
