Hi, I am asking that someone more experienced look at this picture below. I know
that the part pictured on the bottom is 32064b, but I am not able to find anything
about the part pictured on the top. It has the same axle hole as 32064b, but
the support on the bottom of the piece is hollow and not solid. Could someone
explain this? Thank you!

Just a variation in moulding.

So that would not matter when listing this item?

You could add a note to say it’s a hollow pin but not something most people are
bothered about.

I have been asked for hollow pin versions in other parts as the buyer wanted
them to match what they already had.

Agree to that - I think hardly anyone cares. I tried to list them separately
in the beginning, but it turned out to be just confusing and no help to anyone.
(To complete vintage sets I don't want to use hollow pin pieces myself, but
when in doubt I ask before ordering, I don't expect other sellers to keep
them apart.)

Does anyone know why they made the hole so weird looking for as long as they
did, and what caused them to make the change to the current variation?
