I do find it strange that every EU country is included except for Bulgaria.
I will say Bulgaria has traditionally been ranked the most corrupt country in
the EU (although Hungary recently took over that spot), so maybe LEGO has issues
with doing business in the country.
This is huge image problem, maybe unfair and based on the past.
Bulgaria has also traditionally been a partner of Russia, which given the current
situation in Europe isn't making them new friends.
Bulgaria has also lost 25% of population since 1990, so the country is slowly
dying.
But Bulgaria just opened its' first LEGO store 6 months ago, although it
is run by third party.
Clearly LEGO isn't completely ignoring your country, but it is taking time
for them to develop the market.

Forget logistics and a tiny market, eyebrow raising ties to Russia or all the
other reasons a business may ignore a marketplace, but yeah lets go straight
to xenophobia.
They don't teach Occam's razor in Bulgaria?

The limits on BDP shipping have nothing to do with war though. BDP sets are
sent by LEGO S@H. So if S@H doesn’t deliver to you, you can’t (pre)order BDP
sets.

I'm guessing from the forum category the OP is referring to the designer
program?

Yes, i guess the same. I have to agree with him. Maybe we are second hand people
for TLG
We still do not have an official TLG store in Bulgaria. I tried many times in
the past around 10 years to bought from TLG and always my orders were refused
for some stupid reasons. Finally i accepted it. The Designer program follow the
same rules, we cant order
Sadly

I agree with you: Bulgaria is considered second hand people by LEGO. Don't
know why. And as the OP has stated: Bulgaria is in the EU. And member of NATO
on top of that.
I find it shocking that we now live in a world dominated by crazy wars. Where
no one wins and there are only losers.
Online selling platforms such as Briclink should actually rise above this and
know better. This would also serve world peace better.

Ireland only got its first official store in 2022. where they deemed "second
hand people" as you say, no. Its just that TLG deems the market in your country
to small to justify opening a physical store at this moment, it might change
in the future.

_LEGO_ doesn’t ship.
The BDP sets are shipped only where LEGO Shop@Home ships and/or? where there’s
a local S@H website.
“Will you ship the BrickLink Designer sets to all countries?
The BrickLink Designer Program sells through the LEGO.com Shop. This allows us
to give you a smooth shipping and support process. Unfortunately, this also limits
the countries to which we can ship. Only BrickLink members from the following
35 countries are allowed to pre-order the designer sets.
America: USA, Canada, Mexico
Europe: UK, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, Denmark, Poland, Sweden,
Netherlands, Norway, Hungary, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Slovenia,
Ireland, Slovakia, Czechia, Luxembourg, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Greece, Romania.
Asia/Oceania: South Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia*
Please note that LEGO.com will not ship to Post Office Boxes (PO Boxes) or mail
forwarding addresses.
*Due to local regulations, sets that fall below 500MYR will not be available
for pre-order in Malaysia” — https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/faq.page

You can create your list of parts with optical recognition (at least on parts
you've difficulties to find), it's very convenient!

Correct, it is 'hidden' in the 'add items' dialogue.
Anyway to have it shown on the menu bar or as a button?

I had heard of it but considering find it. Thanks for helping. Now I should be
able to add parts at twice the speeds that is if I don’t get distracted
