Redesigned during production. There are at least 2 different versions of instructions for this set. Quick overview of redesign: A supplemental correction sheet for the first version of instructions on pages 16-17 shows the original white steering arms (with axle socket) being replaced by ones in light gray and the light gray axle pins which fit into them are changed to black. When the whole instruction book is reprinted, however, the steering arms return to white, but they now have pin sockets and a special towball with pin (in black) has been developed to connect with them. The 1 x 6 links have also changed from black to dark gray, presumably to make the different colors of towball connectors more clear.
