Hello fellow AFOLs and BrickLinkers, and thank you for visiting. For Our Kids is a fun thing for our family to share in together. It helps keep extra pieces under control and allows the kids to get an idea of financial responsibility while having fun at the same time.

As for me personally, I started with set 733 UBS...the semi truck and the helicopter and some type of junk yard with a crane on track system. I built that set probably three hundred times over and over...take it apart and build it again. I don't think I built the truck or helicopter until almost a year later. Next was my addiction with legoland space sets. My first was the Alpha-1 Rocket Base which led me on quest through the early 80s with nearly every set that followed the theme. Yes I still have them. Wouldn't dream of selling, my kids love them.

The latest update is that all three are huge Lego fans. We went to our second BrickFiesta show this summer as well as the Lego Kids Fest and now they are even more in love with those amazing building blocks. They have all been bitten by the Modular bug. Here we go again. They are totally loving it. There are so many ways to use Lego to help teach the little ones and it allows dad time to play as well. Can't go wrong there. My collection is getting huge. I only hope that we can keep them as we continue to acquire more. Maybe we will need to build and sell...keep visiting, maybe you can catch some good deals!
