I am a father of two girls, 18 and 21, and a 10 year old son, and have been collecting,(ok,ok, playing with) LEGO for "well" over 30 years. I always thought I was weird, and was a "closet" LEGO fan. Then one day I did a search for "LEGO" on yahoo, and life has never been the same. I found brickbay.com,(now bricklink, because the moneysucking monster ebay thought that "brickbay" was getting a free ride from the "bay" part of their name), and now I can build the things I've been dreaming of since I was 10. I have had great experiences on bricklink, and plan on sticking around for the long haul!
