About Me Pages: About Draykov (370)
Originally discovered the magic that is LEGO in 1979 with set #485 (Fire Truck). A few years later, Classic Space was everywhere, and that is what really got me into LEGO. I fell into my Dark Ages some time around puberty, and while I dabbled with LEGO in my adult life (particularly around 1996-97) I didn't truly come out of my Dark Ages until the acquisition of the Star Wars license. In 2000, my wife bought me 7131 Anakin's Podracer and the rest was history. I rarely have time to build or shop for LEGO these days, but I have a pretty impressive collection (if I do say so myself). While I do have other interests that take me away from LEGO from time to time, I am an AFOL for life.

I introduced my daughter to LEGO as early as possible and, thanks to her dad, she developed an extensive collection of bricks herself that has since been, at least theoretically, absorbed into my own collection.
