At this page I want something tell you about myself and my passion for LEGO.

My name is Sjors from the Netherlands. I was born in Zeeland and grew up there, a little region in the south-west of the Netherlands. For a couple of years now, my girlfriend and I are living in the central of the region Zeeland. We are living in friendly neighbourhood, in a nice and cosy house.

When I was 3 years old I got my first LEGO-set from my parents, it was the passenger plane (6368) of 1985! That was the beginning of a time to play every day with LEGO. In the years that followed I collect more and more LEGO to build my own realistic LEGO-town! Because I'm an only child I got an extra room for myself where I could play with my LEGO. At the age of 12 years my mother decided that I was to old for LEGO and that I need to empty the room. In the years that followed I collected some LEGO Technic-sets in my bedroom, but the time of my own LEGO-room was gone. All my LEGO were stored on the ceiling of my parents home and it is still there.

At the end of 2011, I saw the LEGO Mini Modulars on the Facebook-page of a colleague and I was directly enthousiast! I started searching the internet and found the Modular Buildings. At that moment my love for LEGO was back. I asked my girlfriend to buy a LEGO Modular Building as a Christmas present and she did! The LEGO Petshop (10218) was my first big LEGO-set since my 12th age. After I've build it I was unstoppable, I bought the other LEGO Modular Buildings, starting to collect LEGO Exclusives ; trains, ships, sculptures, seasonals, wintersets, rare- and employee sets etc. My girlfriend was in shock, where must he store all those boxes filled with plastic bricks!?

We decides the smallest bedroom in the house became the office and also my LEGO-room. Luckily we bought enough closets to place all that LEGO in and upon these closets. I had to make a decision which sets to build, and which to store. My decision was to build all the Modular Buildings, which are placed at a shelf on the wall. I kept the other boxes all sealed, in mint condition and stored at a safe place to hide for any sunlight.

Because I like to trade products, getting in contact with peoples I was searching for several years something to trade with. After my old love, LEGO came back in my life, my idea was to combine trading with my LEGO-passion, so I did and began to like it. After 1,5 years collecting different and expensive LEGO-sets I started my own store on Bricklink.com and BrickWorld_NL was born.
